Haven't been updating the journal in a LOOOONG while.
Hoo-hoo, lots of things have been going on nowadays. Went on a spiritual retreat to Pansol, and learned a lot of things about myself there. Usually, when I go on a retreat, I learn something new... but not about myself. But this time, I was able to solve some personal conflicts I needed to deal with myself. It's much of a relief, as you could say. Not bad for my last year at the retreat house. d(~.^)b
This is also the year where I first got to explore the retreat house fully, if you know what I mean. My friend and I explored the nun's route through the building (since we often used the normal route, which just brought you from floor to floor without really showing anything.), and we discovered new places we never really saw before. For instance, we found the hidden Level E of the building, and surprisingly, a laundry chute. It was kinda cool finding those hidden nooks and crannies!
Also, the first day there, me and my friend were able to talk to our old class adviser when we were in fifth grade. We met some more friendly nuns, talked miles and pretty much bonded for a good part of the evening. The cool part was we were the only ones in the building at that time... since the others were down at Level A, in the big dorm. The nuns were really nice to us! d(^_^)b
Also, since the others were back in bed, we had the whole CR to ourselves. It's kinda cool, you know, having a GYNORMOUS BATHROOM late at night. The others usually were afraid of the prospect because of ghost stories about the place, but it was just so cool! You can goof around and nobody could yell at you. XD
You could pretty much say that I had a fun time there.
As well, since that was my last retreat in the good 'ol retreat house, I took some last-minute pictures of it with three very unique people as models. (Can somebody teach me how to put pictures on journals? It would be real helpful!
